A meeting place for inspiration, advice and networking, LFD (Leather Fashion Design) magazine supports all fashion professionals who work with leather to bring their projects to fruition in terms of innovation, performance and sustainability.

"From harness to handbag
Leather is often a family affair. And the history of Renouard leather goods proves it once again. It all began in 1891 in Plancoët, a small commune in the Côtes-d'Armor region, where grandfather Joseph Renouard made leather harnesses and straps for pulling ploughs. [...] But after a brief interlude in the 1980s, during which it became a subcontractor for luxury labels, the family business launched its eponymous brand and opened its first two boutiques in Dinard and La Baule."

Founded over 130 years ago in Brittany, Maison Renouard has stood the test of time without ever giving in to the sirens of fast fashion. Here, each bag is lovingly designed and crafted in the Plancoët workshop.
The collections, unveiled twice a year, feature between five and eight exclusive models, in a wide choice of colors, with the option of branding the bag with the initials of the wearer. For the most exquisite, made-to-measure bags, the customer can choose the color, the leather or the threads, while maintaining a timeless, defined base. This attention to detail gives each piece a real intimacy with its owner, like a natural extension of her personality.
Far from mass production, Renouard focuses on authenticity and durability. The creations, both resistant and comfortable, are designed to accompany everyday life while adding a touch of refinement. This philosophy, which runs counter to ephemeral trends, illustrates their commitment to respectful, sustainable fashion."
